Important Notes

  • Drivers in Bali can only speak manageable English and provide basic information about places in tour. If you need a proper guide who can accompany you during tours and provide detailed information, then a licensed guide can be provided at extra cost.
  • Vehicle provided is based on the number of people travelling. Extra charges will be applicable if additional vehicles (or vehicle with bigger capacity) are required due to travellers carrying extra or oversized luggage.
  • Seat in coach (SIC) transfers implies that transfers will be in a shared bus which will have other co-passengers. You are requested to be at the place of pick up / hotel lobby at least 5 minutes before pickup time. Sometime you may have to wait for a period of about 30-45 minutes depending upon traffic, location of the hotel on the route and picking up of other guests.
  • For any change in pickup timing of private tours/transfers, request has to be made at least 24 hours in advance in the Telegram app. Any request for last minute changes would not be considered.
  • You are required to fill Customs Declaration online before arrival at Bali. The Bali Customs Declaration Form can be downloaded from the Indonesian customs website or obtained at the airport upon arrival.   • As with any tropical destination, expect bugs in Bali. Mosquitoes are the most common ones, and repellants are usually easily available, and suggested for travel.
  • Snakes could be a common occurrence in Hotels in Ubud Area. Suggested not to walk barefoot through garden areas of the hotel after dark. Check with hotel reception on dos and donts for the specific property
  • Visitors from the US and Canada in possession of a passport with at least 6 months’ validity from date of return and one blank visa page, can purchase a Visa on Arrival, at a cost of 35USD locally. Stays of up to 30 days are allowed. Travelers are also required to pay a 10USD Tourism Levy each time they enter Bali. Our Scope of Services

  • We are holiday organizers only. We inspect and select the services to be provided to you. However, we do not own, operate or control any airline, shipping company, coach or coach company, hotel, transport, restaurant, kitchen caravan or any other facility or provider etc. that is engaged to provide you services during the course of your tour. Therefore, please carefully note that:
  • You will need to adhere to the conditions, rules and regulations of each service provider. For instance, you will need to check the baggage rules of the airline, you will need to check the hotel rules to check what the mealtimes are, at which you should make yourself available. The company is not responsible / liable for the consequences if you breach such rules and regulations.
  • If you cause any injury or damage affecting the service provider, then you may be liable to the service provider and if the service provider recovers any monies from us for such injury or damages, we shall separately charge you for the same.
  • We cannot be held responsible / liable for any delay, deficiency, injury, death, loss or damage etc. occasioned due to act or default of such service providers, their employees or agents.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

  • Hotel cancellation will be as per the hotel cancellation policy. If the hotels are non-refundable, you will not get any refund for hotels in the event of cancellation.
  • Any transfers or activities included in the trip will be non-refundable if cancelled within 3 days of the travel start date, unless otherwise specified during the quotation stage in the "Points to Note" section. Some services handle different cancellation policies and they must be respected accordingly.
  • Entrance tickets of any kind are non-refundable from the moment of booking, unless specified otherwise
  • There will be also a service charge of 5% on total value in case of cancellation of Land and 5% on total value for any amendments.
  • Hotel room allocation will be subject to availability and will be on a first come first serve basis.
  • Any transfers or activities included in the trip will be non-refundable if cancelled within 3 days of the travel start date.

Payment Policies

  • ACCEPTANCE: A deposit for a booking constitutes Customer’s acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
  • LAND DEPOSIT*:
  • Australia/New Zealand/Islands: $500/person
  • Africa/Asia/Multi-Country: 30% of booking
  • Group as defined below: $500/person
  • Bookings require a land deposit as noted above as well as full payment for air (if applicable) in order to hold reservations for land services. At the time of quoting, *the Customer will be notified if a larger deposit is required by a Service Provider. Deposits are disbursed to suppliers upon receipt and are 100% non-refundable. Travel Protection Insurance may cover deposits in most instances, and Travel Answers recommends Customers purchase Travel Protection.
  • GROUP RESERVATIONS: Groups are defined as reservations for 10 or more guests.
  • AIR PAYMENT: In addition to the land services deposit, airline reservations (where requested) must be paid for in full and ticketed to confirm space and guarantee airfare rate. Airfare payment due dates and ticketing due dates are separate, and in addition to the initial deposit and final payment for land services. Airline regulations require the full name, date of birth and gender for all passengers as appears on their passports. Customers must provide a copy of each passenger's passport photo page. A US$250 per ticket change fee, plus any applicable airline fees, will apply for incorrect information. Travel Answers advises the Customer as best practice to provide a copy of the detail page of their passport including their photo. Airfares are not guaranteed until full payment has been received and processed by Travel Answers. Airfares have different terms and conditions, and you will be advised of these at time of booking.
  • AIRLINE SEATS & ANCILLARY REQUESTS: Seats will be assigned at airport check-in at no charge. Check-in for international flights starts approximately 3 hours prior to departure and for domestic flights about 2 hours prior to departure. Most airlines charge an additional fee for seat requests ranging from $10 & up per flight. Travel Answers can help with pre-assigned chargeable seats or Customers may book direct via Airline’s website once tickets are issued. Seats, and other ancillary airline requests including meals, internet, or additional baggage charges can also be made directly with the airline. Airline ancillaries, pricing and schedules are in control of the carrier and subject change. We recommend you always check with the airline for the latest information.
  • ITINERARY CHANGES: Once a deposit has been received, a US$150 per booking change fee will apply. Other fees are at the discretion of the hotels, tour operators, rental car agencies and other Service Providers. Additional fees will be advised at the time of booking as applicable.
  • PAYMENT: Before final payment, you will receive a final invoice that has been updated to reflect any currency fluctuations, as well as additions or changes to the booking. Prices are not guaranteed until full payment has been made. In some cases, prices may be adjusted as described elsewhere in these Terms and Conditions.
  • FINAL PAYMENT: Final payment for all destinations, including individual and group bookings, is due 90 days prior to departure unless early booking discounts or advance purchase rules apply. Customers may pay in full at any time prior to departure. For reservations made within 90 days of departure, full and final payment is due at the time of booking. Failure to make final payment when due will result in the booking being automatically cancelled and the Customer will be responsible for the cancellation fees.
  • CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation fees may vary depending on the products booked. Cancellation fees are as follows:
  • INDIVIDUAL RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS:
  • 91 days or more prior to departure: loss of deposit
  • From 90 days prior to departure:: 100% of total booking cost
  • GROUP CANCELLATIONS:
  • 180 days or more prior to departure: loss of deposit
  • 91-179 days prior to departure: 50%
  • From 90 days prior to group departure: 100%
  • All cancellation fees are the sole responsibility of the Customer. Prior to final payment, there may be additional fees imposed by suppliers that will be indicated to the customer.
  • Final payments are disbursed to Service Providers upon receipt and are non-refundable under any circumstance. Travel insurance protection is recommended to cover cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • AIR CANCELLATION/CHANGE PENALTIES: Airline tickets are non-refundable once issued. Changes may be made depending on the fare purchased, but fees will apply. Any fees will be advised when the changes are requested and can vary by Airline. It is the passenger's responsibility to provide Travel Answers with the correct passport name for airline tickets. Some fares may permit changes yet levy change fees, penalties, and possible additional fare collection. In addition to these fees, Travel Answers reserves the right to assess a US$250 ticket re-issue for changes such as, but not limited to, name change, date or flight change and cancellation.
  • RAIL: Rail pricing is subject to change until ticketed and all rail is non-refundable once the ticket is issued. Cancellation policies vary by company and may have fees in addition to those charged by Travel Answers.
  • TRAVEL PROTECTION: We recommend that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. Unforeseen events such as flight delays, baggage loss or even a sudden sickness or injury could impact your travel plans. While there are many such products, for your convenience, we offer a Travel Protection Plan provided by United States Fire Insurance Company and administered by Trip Mate, Inc; in UT and CA DBA Trip Mate Insurance. Plan benefits, limits and provisions may vary by state/jurisdiction and not all coverage is available in all states/jurisdictions. The cost of the TripMate policy is for the Travel Protection Plan, which includes insurance benefits underwritten by United States Fire Insurance Company, as well as non-insurance assistance services provided by Generali Global Assistance and FootprintID®.
  • PRICES: Travel Answers quotes prices in US currency based on the exchange rates for the respective foreign currency as of the date of the quote. Customer's exchange rate is only guaranteed when full payment is made, unless otherwise noted on Customer's itinerary. Any price that Travel Answers quotes is subject to change without notice until full payment is made.
  • CHILDREN: Please note that some travel products do not allow children below a certain age. If Customer plans to travel with children, Customer must notify Travel Answers when booking and provide a clear copy of the passport photo page for each traveling child so Travel Answers can verify ages.

Amendment of Booking by Guest

  • If you wish to amend or change your booking, you have to communicate your request to us in writing to tagdirect@travelanswersgroup.com. Such requests for change or amendment will be accepted subject to availability. Please note that the amended or changed booking will be regarded as a new booking. In case the amendment is carried out within the cancellation period, then a cancellation charge shall apply as if a cancellation was made on the date the request for amendment or change is made. Please note the cancellation charges will be as per the airline and hotel policies.
